A carpenter and builder by trade, Steve has a natural knack for getting things done, being practical, and definitely having a hands-on approach. Not content with just visiting the Barossa to satisfy his penchant for bold flavoured shiraz and cabernet wines, Steve couldn’t wait to live in the Valley.
Not one to do things by half, if Steve sets his mind to something, you can bet he will find a way to make it happen! When you combine his skills in management, being innovative, and a perpetual desire to succeed, it’s no wonder Steve came home one day and asked Rebecca if they could buy the VineCrest Cellar Door (also telling her they’d be mad if they didn’t!).
It doesn’t stop there, and certainly never will, with plans for expansion and business growth forever on his mind – ie. What can we do next?!?;

Heard saying such words around the Cellar Door, Steve encourages team members to try and do almost anything with his “yes”/“can-do” attitude, his aim to give people opportunities beyond the scope of their role, and to always strive to find ways of pleasing our customers.
