A Melbourne girl through and through, Rebecca amazed her family members and friends when she announced that she was leaving behind her cosmopolitan inner-city life to reside in the Barossa.

Rebecca recalls her first experience of wine being the Riesling her parents allowed her to have a small glass of on special occasions.  Her love of wine has expanded vastly from there, with her love being anything from a sparkling through to the spiciest Shiraz she can get her hands on.  Rebecca has always had an affinity with South Australia, coming for holidays at age 3, with visits to the Barossa later in life culminating in the Valley becoming her favourite wine region.

With a background in banking and HR, Rebecca is passionate about developing the business and it’s people, and about finding ways to stir up the status quo; she’ll often say;

If you want something bad enough, you can have it – you can do it!!”

Rebecca looks forward to “surprising and delighting” customers at the Cellar Door, and is passionate about delivering the ultimate customer experience.  She also is focussed on introducing Simpatico Bed ‘n’ Breakfast accommodation, extending the personalised Simpatico experience beyond just the wine tasting itself.  Watch this space.
